About Clifton |

|
Take a step back in time. Much of Clifton still looks as it did 100 years ago. Welcome to a place where neighbors know and care about each other and gather at local events throughout the year. Welcome to a place where you can park on the side of the road and walk through the town - rather than parking in a multi-level garage and taking public transportation to get from place to place. Clifton's appeal is its beautiful location in Southwest Fairfax County, Virginia and feel of the country, while still being within 30 minutes of Washington DC. The historic buildings, quaint shops, narrow streets, and active railroad track running through the center of town, all add to the ambiance of the town. The Clifton Historic District was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on August, 15, 1985. The people of Clifton are proud of their hometown and it shows. Due to customer request, dinner and holiday meals were added. Soon after, the restaurant branched out to include catering services. Today, the restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
