The hospitable hostess, Lynne Garvey Hodge, is the perfect complement to the house. Lynne is an artist, MPA, Management Consultant, author of "Clifton" - a pictorial essay on her town, and parent of a young adult. One look and you'll notice her collection of "objets d'art d'escargot."

In the morning, you can look forward to a full gourmet breakfast on the shady veranda or in the kitchen.

Many guests enjoy simply relaxing in the Cottage's comfortable rooms or sitting out in the gardens. Host and owner, Lynne, strives to make each stay a memorable one, and individual attention is given to special requests.

Clifton offers plenty of quaint shops to browse through. There are also two elegant restaurants within walking distance of The Canary Cottage.
